Purpose
The HELLENiQ ENERGY Center for Sustainability and Energy @ Alba Graduate Business School (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”) may collect, process, display, and share photographic and/or video material featuring participants during events, seminars, and activities organized by the Center. This material is used exclusively for the purpose of promoting and showcasing the Center’s initiatives.
Collection and Use of Material
By providing consent, participants authorize the Center to collect and use photographs and/or video recordings in which they may appear. Such material may be published across the Center’s official communication channels, including but not limited to:
- Printed materials and publications
- Websites and electronic platforms
- Social media accounts
The use of this material will be strictly limited to purposes related to the promotion and communication of the Center’s educational and outreach activities.
Sharing with Third Parties
The Center may, where appropriate, share the aforementioned photographic and/or video material with Mass Media outlets solely for the purpose of publicizing and promoting the Center’s events and initiatives.
Voluntary Consent and Withdrawal
Providing consent for the use of such material is entirely voluntary. Participants have the right to withdraw their consent at any time by submitting a written request to:
Upon withdrawal of consent, the Center will discontinue the publication or use of any photographic or video material depicting the participant. However, the withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of any prior processing carried out before the consent was withdrawn.
Data Protection and Rights
The Center processes personal data in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Group Privacy Policy, and the Privacy Notice of the American College of Greece.
Participants have the following rights under the GDPR:
- Access to their personal data
- Correction or deletion of their data
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Objection to processing
- Lodging a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA)
