Empowering Energy Leaders: The 4th Executive Program in Energy Business Kicks Off!

On March 18, for the fourth year, the Executive Program in Energy Business at Alba Graduate Business School welcomed a new cohort of professionals from leading energy and sustainability companies in Greece. The program continues to shape the future of the industry by equipping participants with the expertise needed to navigate the evolving energy landscape.

The opening session and first lecture were led by Prof. Dr. Kostas Andriosopoulos, Director of the HELLENiQ Energy Center for Sustainability and Energy @Alba. The Center, a key supporter of the program, actively contributes by fostering knowledge exchange, promoting cutting-edge research, and bridging academia with industry needs. Kicking off the program, Prof. Andriosopoulos introduced participants to the Fundamentals of the Energy Transition, setting the stage for an engaging journey into the complexities of the modern energy sector.

The following session featured Prof. Dr. Kostas Andriosopoulos alongside Mr. Fernando Kalligas Castiella, Director of Corporate Affairs, ESG & Communication at DESFA. Together, they highlighted the crucial role of Natural Gas in the Energy Transition, discussing its impact on sustainability, energy security, and the evolving regulatory framework.
